Who can apply?

The person applying for the Canada Super Visa has to be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada. This visa allows the applicant to stay up to 2 years in Canada.

How can you apply for the Canada Super Visa?

Gather the required documents

Please acquire the required documents as described below so you can get started on applying for the Canada Supe Visa. 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

From the person in Canada

Invitation letter

The person that you’re visiting in Canada needs to provide an invitation letter. This can be scanned and emailed to you. The letter must state all members of the household where the applicant will be staying and make mention of dependents as well. A sample invitation letter is provided below. The invitation can be scanned and sent to your email or to our email at Expedite Travel Services

Passport front page (citizen)

The person sending the invitation letter will need to send you a copy of their passport front page if they are a citizen. This can be scanned and sent to your email or to our email at Expedite Travel Services

Permanent Resident (PR)

The person sending the invitation letter will need to send you  a copy of their Permanent Resident Card if they are a Permanent Resident. This can be scanned and sent to your email or to our email at Expedite Travel Services

Birth certificate

Provide a copy of the child/grandchild who the applicant is visiting in Canada birth certificate.

Insurance certificate/policy

Proof of private medical insurance coverage for a minimum of $100,000 for one year with a Canadian Insurance Company. No quotations will be accepted.

Financial support (proof of funds)

The person in Canada who is inviting you must prove that their household meets the minimum necessary income. Follow the steps below:

Check the minimum necessary income based on family size

The person in Canada can use one of the documents below as proof of funds:

  • A most recent copy of the Notice of Assessment
  • A most recent copy of the T4 or T1
  • Job letter stating the title, Job description, and salary
  • Proof of other sources of income such as Investments, pension statement, etc
  • If self-employed, a letter from an accountant confirming annual income
  • Employment insurance pay stubs

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

From the person applying

Digital photo

The frame size must be at least 35 mm x 45 mm (1 3/8″ x 1 3/4″). The photographs must show the full front view of the head, with the face in the middle of the photograph, and include the top of the shoulders. The size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31 mm (1 1/4″) and 36 mm (1 7/16″). When you visit the photo studio to take your photo please have the photographer send the photo to our email (expeditetravelservice@gmail.com).

Passport

Valid passport

Your passport should have at least (6) months remaining before it expires. However, it's best to renew your passport if it has less than one (1) year remaining.

Expired passport

We will need your expired passports if you were issued a Canadian visa before and it expires. However, if you misplace your old passport, you can apply without it.

Employment status

Job letter

A job letter is needed from the company that you are currently employed. Though a letter may be valid for six (6) months, please ensure that your job letter is no more than two (2) months old.

Letter from J.P.

A self-employed person should get a letter from a J.P stating that they are self-employed and how long they have been self-employed.

Business Registration Certificate

If you are a registered business owner you should provide a Business Registration Certificate from The Companies Office of Jamaica.

If retired, no employment documents needed

If the person applying is retired no employment documents are needed

Other documents

Marriage certificate

Please provide a copy of your marriage certificate, if married.

Immigration Medical Examination

The person applying is required to take a medical examination. This should be done by a physician who is approved by the Canadian government. Be sure to call a physician of your choice from the list provided and make an appointment. Bring documents to show your medical history on the day of your appointment. The physician will provide an e-medical report that you will submit when applying for the super visa.

Apply for the Canada Super Visa

You can apply for the Canada Visitor’s Visa by applying through us “Online” or “In-Office. Please see more details below:

Apply online

1. Gather the required documents

Gather the required documents, then scan and email the required documents stated above to expeditetravelservice@gmail.com 

2. Complete our online form

Complete our online form using either your phone, laptop, desktop or tablet and click submit. This will send your information to us. 

3. We complete your application

After we complete your visa application, we will send it to your email so that you can check it for error. If you found any mistake, we will make the necessary changes and have you recheck it.

At Expedite Travel Services, we ensure that every applicant checks their application multiple times to ensure that there is no mistake when submitting it to Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Once you verify that your application is correctly filled out, we will pay the visa fee and submit your visa application to Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada. After we submit your application and pay the visa fee, you will receive a confirmation email to do a biometric. A biometric allow visa officers to screen applicants for prior criminal convictions.

As soon as you received the email to get your biometric done, we will schedule an appointment for you. The biometric is done at the Canadian visa application Centre nearest to you. On the morning of your appointment, you should take your passport and the biometric letter that you received in your email. After you get your biometric done, you can log on to your account that was created on Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada to check your application status on a day to day basis, or we will check it for you and update you regularly.

When Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada finish processing your application, they will send you an email to let you know if your visa is approved or denied. If your visitor visa is approved, you will have to send your passport with DHL to the embassy.

Apply in-office

1. Gather the required documents

The required documents are stated above. Ensure you have all the necessary documents that apply to you when visiting our office 

2. Bring the necessary information

Ensure you have all the information needed to complete your application before visiting the office. The information needed are stated below as follows:

Spouse’s full name, date of birth, address, and occupation. Spouse information is needed if you are married or in a common-law relationship.

Parents full name, marital status, date of birth, address, and occupation. Even if your parents are deceased, we will still need their name for the application process. If you don’t know anything about your parent, you can apply without their information as this will not reduce your chances of getting your visa approved.

Children full name, marital status, date of birth, address and occupation. Even If your children are deceased, we will still need their name for the application process.

Step-children full name, marital status, date of birth, address and occupation. Whether your stepchild/stepchildren are living with you or not, their information is still required. However, if you don’t know anything about your step child/children, you can apply without their information. This will not reduce your chance of getting your visa approved.

We will need the name of the last two (2) companies you worked for including the: address, job title, employment start date and end date. If you don’t remember all the information about your previous employment, you can apply without it. This will not reduce your chances of getting your visa approved.

3. Visit the office

When visiting the office bring the required documents and the necessary information to complete your application.
